Man that infernal hound looks dope as hell, amazing work on all of these! Now i'm curious, is he made of Jade or the terracotta guardian has this name for a reason? lol
Thank you @patrycja.lerch and @Pattu_w!
He's a momma's boy.
He is made of jade! The prompt was "terracotta winged guardian" so the rest of him was up for interpretation. I figured jade went well with the oni looking design.
Wow, these are very imaginative. I especially like the terracotta guardian.
Welp, got 14 days into Creatuanary. It was fun, but time to get back to the studies.Day 11: Stegolith
Day 12: Quicksand Elemental
Day 13: Mountain Troll
Day 14: Dryad of the Oak
Thanks for the peep!Stay fresh cheese bags.
Thanks @cobalt_kat! Yeah, he might be my favorite.
These look great!
the first one looks like a pokemon and the last one looks like a bakugan XD
Dang you've really been putting in the work! Nice job on all those critters and studies mate!
Thanks @patrycja.lerch, @mitsuki-youko, and @snakker!
I had to look up what a bakugan was lol. They look pretty neato.
Couple of figure studies. 2 and 3 min. Decided to play around with some extreme angles.
Another Tooth Wu study. I love their work but damn, there's so much going on I'm gonna count this one as 2
I'm pretty sure that's it - time to move onto anatomy!Stay fresh cheese bags.
Week 3 here we go.Couple of Primitive Shapes
Bunch of torso muscle overlays
Towards the end I started drawing some bones and muscles underneath and I think that helped me visualize a lot better.
Clothed figure
And lastly its the Mr. Wide Bod Bobby bust.
That's all for now! Thanks for stopping by.Stay fresh cheese bags.
yooo your clothes shading is amazing!!
Really good job all around mate, those lines are so clean π
Really great work on all of these! man those primitive shapes are quite fun to look at, i always struggle on those.
Thanks @mitsuki-youko, @snakker, and @Pattu_w!Now if I could only get this barrel to not look like a turd lol.
Damn, 3d seems really fun. I struggled a bit on this barrel and it took me awhile to figure out why. I'm pretty sure my old PC just isn't up to snuff for it. All of the sculpting strokes would turn out lumpy (probably due to lack of processing) so I would crease/smooth over and over to try to get it so it dosent look like an abomination lol. I did use Blender for this because I already had it and could see myself occasionally using it. I'd rather avoid paying for a Zbrush if I don't get on that often. Anynoodle, its a good excuse to finally get a new computer! And the fancy animation (guess you can't upload videos here.)https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sV2PLBYkDRG4x2qMlxrXc5_UUcAufGL6/view?usp=sharing
Couple of torso muscle maps as well.
Thanks for stopping by!Stay fresh cheese bags.
noice!! you could have turned it into a gif and uploaded it too but yea u cant upload vids here.
These studies look great!
u make me wanna say that too XD what does one say in response to that XD
Damn, really nice job on those muscle maps, they are so clean and clear! Only things im not sure about are the last guy on the leftβs armpit and the latissimus insertion direction on the one on the right
Good job on the barrel despite the difficulties also
Cheers!
Thanks @mitsuki-youko!
Oh, duh. For some reason that didn't cross my mind Thanks @snakker! Are you talking about these two spots?
This one should be going up into the arm - I hadn't noticed that botch. Thanks!
The second one is the one you show in green and the first one would the opposite latissimus (the left latissimus muscle of the right figure XD) and the teres major which would go forward with it, giving a gap to allow for the passing of the long head of the triceps
