thanks I wasn't sure if it worked with all the dark greens around it.

its been a while, i wasnt able to draw or post anything because i was upgrading my pc. I just recently got back into the groove of things. this past week. I have spent some time looking at some tutorials people have recommended in the past and just trying to learn new stuff in general. anyways instead of trying to jump back into what i was doing prior to stopping i decided it would be best to brush up on some basic concepts.

nice skull/head studies, you did a good job on the more extreme angles as well

Thanks @Kosmonaut I've recently found myself deviating from the skull form in my faces so i figured this would help m refamiliarize myself with them again.

thanks @Lukiesartventure - looking back on it now I think they could look better but the general volumes are there. which is what I was focusing on because i recently started ignoring the volumes when drawing faces.

I've been busy since I started drawing again - just haven't had the time to update this. below are some warm up exercises that I've done to help me get in the groove of doing art.

aside from that I've recently finished this landscape piece. it took me about 3-hours. the reason I mention this is because it started out as a warm up exercise but I started getting more and more into the piece so I decided to continue it. As I worked on it I was very conscious to not tunnel vision on a specific area - usually I spend to much time on details it it takes to long to finish. that's why I started with these warm up pieces to just do simple sketches and move on to a stronger piece. Let me know what you think about it. C&C is welcome.

I've also been working on my character named Shelby. I was originally doing a landscape piece with her before I had to stop drawing for a bit. As I started getting more and more into that piece I decided the overall piece lacked detail so I decided to take a step back and really plan out the piece. that started with a character sheet for the the main character of the piece. 'll probably be working on this piece slowly because I want to try a different rendering method to my previous method - where i would sketch a design and slowly refine and redesign the pieces i worked on. just takes more time that way so I want to get better with time. anyways again C&C is welcome.

Your hands are i n s a n e! Great character too, I think her eyes are a little scary. Might need to close the eyelids a little, unless she's supposed to give off a "I love this gun more than my life" sort of vibe

@Lukiesartventure hank you very much, the hands are a process in themselves for me - you can really tell if its in an awkward position. I'll try to adjust the eyes - after looking over it I think they could use a bit of touch up.

Done with this one - not sure what ill do next. kind of want to do an expression sheet but i also have some unfinished pieces I want to get back to.

very nice character love the rendering on this

Arcane Vi - My original main. Had to take the opportunity to at least draw her properly. Now Excuse Me, I'm about to go watch Act 3.

yup, looking forward to the next season.
