Here I am again with more progress, and because I'm a glutton for punishment I decided to redo the rocks because I was not happy with the results. Anyways I think this is the last progress post before the final.

Here's the FINAL product. There are definitely things I could improve but out of fear of tunnel visioning or getting annoyed with this piece I will move on. Let me know how it turned out.

Rocks are hard lol.

Thanks @dangras-almeida , I decided to focus on the contrast instead of the shape. not super happy but it gets the job done. (i think)

So Last week after I finished working the landscape I bounced around starting multiple drawings but ultimately felt unmotivated to finish them. I Started working on my OC design and worked out a couple ideas for some arms. See below and let me know what you think.

the idea was to make it noticeable without it being too bulky. (could do something bulkier later)

I also did some quick thumbnails for a pose. Not sure which one ill use yet

On the arms, thinking the top left one is #1 and the bottom right one is #8, I like #2, #4, and #6/#7 (the last 2 feel like the same thing on different states). Amazing job on these btw, congrats!

Curious to see more explorations on the first thumbnail pose there, altho the top right pose is also very nice.

Thanks @Julia_J & @dangras-almeida. I ended up using the thumbnail in the middle - I wanted to go for a menacing kind of look and i felt that the third one had a bit more action-ee feel to it.

Regarding the Arms 3 and 4/ 6 and 7 are the same i was messing around with a sort of attachment and wanted to depict the way it would operate. I ended up using 4 ultimately.

Hey Handro,
I noticed something in your characters and I have to ask, are you right handed or left? Your eyes on your characters are just slightly bigger or rounded more on the left than the right. I was told to draw the side of the face that you are not dominate with so when you draw the other side of the face, body, etc. you will have an easier time drawing to proportion. Just something I learned from school.

hey @jameelacosta not sure i understand what you mean. draw the entire face with the non dominant hand? (I dont think that you would want to see that haha). if you mean the eyes, ill give it a shot. Thanks.

definitely, if I could start this again, I would probably do the linework first, instead of treating it like a painting.

Here's the final drawing - I almost didn't finish this because of the process I took. Next time imma do line art on a separate layer. Also I almost forgot to add the Blazer over the shirt , I did one with and one without (I think it adds something to it) Let me know what you think.

The blazer is a nice touch, but I still prefer the one without. Don't want the metal forearms to disappear

Okay so nothing crazy this week. Lost my brushes so i had to spend some time recreating the toolkit. when i finished and tried to draw something i was struggling. so I drew this.

I also started looking into improving composition but nothing solid to post yet.
