I finally bit the bullet and bought this program! I'm excited to see how I'll improve. I always drew so much as a kid but never did the fundamentals. I hope to some day be supported by my art and would love to get into illustration or something. I'm not really sure yet. I'm looking forward to figuring that out to. Thanks for stopping by my coop and checking out my pigeon scratch!

I should probably post some stuff from before I started the course. But I just got the tablet a few weeks before so I never finished anything! I'll post what I did so I can look back and check my progress.

grayscale color study. I'm learning I have to time myself and move on after a certain point or I'll never finish and work on other things.

Nice gestures and figures also don't rush anything if you feel like you want to continue focusing on gestures and figure drawing by themselves

no time limit reference practice. used the lasso tool a couple times and checked my accuracy against the reference.

Finished this portrait today. Used liquify to move stuff around. Overall, I'm happy with my progress. I could keep working on it but I think it's time to move on and focus on volume more that fully finished pieces for now. Still doing a lot of gesture and I think I'm improving on anatomy by doing that as well.
