Looking good, now that its got some color going, I do feel there’s too much negative space on the lower left, and I feel my eye has a hard time staying on santa unless I zoom in. Could be the near overlap with the house on the upper left, or maybe just needs more light there to contrast santa I’m not sure 🤔

1st one looks like mid day day time, 2nd one looks like sunset... 3rd one is my fav cus it looks like it can be either day time or night time which i think would better fit the lighting you are going for imo

I think two works best, you can use the light to catch the silhoutte of santa against the darker house in the background and maybe add some smoke, another goblin, toy or something at the bottom left, or maybe a tree occluding just a bit of it to add more foreground. But yeah, 2 definitely makes my eye go towards santa

Like the sun on the sky instead of moon.

I also think the bottom left is so empty. Maybe I will add more little things or goblin on it. But I still not draw the roof detail. And I will add the snow around the composition at the end.

i tried to make more.
is it more like night?
The main light are from the houses and street lamps. And the moon is a fill light.(I didn't draw it here, just show the main light.)

I tried to focus on the details of these characters first.
And add some bounce light on it.

One note, the sugar cane, not sure if its dropped or in the air
