Hi everyone!

I have been working on this Handpainted character, i took a course with Ancelmo Toledo https://www.artstation.com/chemotoledo, and the goal was to create a full game ready handpainted character.

Its my first attempt to do a full handpainted character without the help from a normal map, curvature or AO,

The Concept and inspiration:

The character is inspired by the art of JIACHANG ZHANG
https://www.artstation.com/jiachangzhang

I like the concept and i try to do my best to recreate it in 3D but i also want it to make some changes to de design just for fun.

After some days on zbrush this is the High Poly version, i wont use it for bakes but ill use it for future reference.

This is the final low poly version with 4436 polys (NOT SO LOW POLY XD)

This are the uvs, i know i have some space left i might change it!

This is the las WIP from the handpainted texture, i didnt nail the fur just yet, i im trying my best to do a decent texture.

Please feel free to give me feedback , i want to improve!

Looking good! Since its so early in the painting its hard to point out anything that is problematic yet, do you have some more progress on it to share?

I found one thing the more I look at it, the palms of his hands might be too fat to hold onto a big ol club, that might become an issue as you move towards posing. But I only see this problem clearly in the zbrush shot, so you may have already cleared this up.
