Hi jamethy!
It's me, TheNightKnight (I hope you remember me).
I've been following you on IG for quite a while and loving your pieces for Paths so far :3 And yeah, I feel the same about studying xD What I've been trying to do is set up a project for myself with goals and new difficulties to tackle. I set up appropriate studies for each 'milestone' in my project and slowly work towards the end product, while learning on the way. That helps me, it might or might not help you as well.

Keep the kick-ass art comin'!

I'm pretty much doing the same thing as you when it comes to studying but I just need to be more regular with it.

Really solid work you're putting out for the Paths game! How much of a free hand do you usually get with these pieces?

And I kind of feel like the last one is inspired by a real person maybe? It's so specific.

Thanks for visiting! By free hand, do you mean creative freedom? It's pretty flexible and I can usually do what I like.

If by the last one you meant the woman then yes, I sometimes take inspiration from personalities I've come across in person.

colour study. one thing I want to get better at this year is my colours, lighting and mood. keeping it simple in this one to not get distracted by rendering

Just some more imagination stuf and playing around with making my own typography for my personal project. There's probably already a font that looks just like it somewhere. I've got to study more if I want gains. I keep tellin myself but I never do it lol.
