Term 2, Week 7; I used this opportunity to practice my head anatomy, line arts and a line art only artwork of my own to check my progress

note: Maybe someday, if I feel like, I will add on the shading or coloring if I'm comfortable enough to apply along with corrections.

I would've gotten a lot more time on the artwork, but life can pull you away in unexpected, also procrastination sucks, but I did what can apply to what can do.

So, with that being said and where my current levels are, I'll push further as I go to Be a better artist.

Term 2, Final Week: Welp, finished my 2nd term and yet still feel like I have a long road ahead of me, truthfully, I'm not that satisfied as I still need to practice my perspective forms, so using reference is a great way to improve even build my Background sketching foundation, but for this week's work, life changing methods is something I practice more, but could see improvement as I look over to my previous progress from before.

Alright that being said and done, I know I always said that I strive to do better as an artist, but Ilike remind self that from time to time, so until next time, Term 3 is next!

Overall, it not so bad, just needs to focus towards areas such as not focusing on details too much, and work with linearts. And of course, as always, power on through!

Gotta work with coloring and shading even if it's not the main focus, but helps on blending in many areas, yet I'm shaping well enough in a literal sense and on clothes figures, so not so bad for all things considered from last time. Power on through!

Term 3, Week 4: Progress of the week;
Muscle Anatomy Practice

The process of making a 3D model from an object was more challenging than I expected, and honestly, it has made me procrastinate a lot. I had a hard time learning everything all at once within a week, but on the positive side, it at least forced me to pick up some details I had missed before, and now I know how to use those tools properly.

While I didn't learn much from this week in terms of 3D modeling, I did learn to test out something out of my comfort zone for a change, and keep at it, as always!

Term 3, Week 6; Progress of the Week:
Anatomy assignment 2

My Guy

In the beginning, I had a difficult time picking out the colors from reference, but I was able to make it work with a specific brush and blend style that almost replicated the original artist's style. Similarly, I used that Og art technique as well. It's clear, however, that I still have a lot to learn about blending and clothing folds. Despite the fact that references make it look good, it's still hard to map out. I'm actually catching on to anatomy from both sides of the torso, so I'm making good progress there.

All in all, I feel the progress this week has been good, and this basically concludes the third term of my journey. Have a great week and I'll see you on 4th.

Term 4th, Week 1; Things are really picking up the pace for me as go into the new term but of course let's get to the usual progress of the week.

Note: This Character's color pattern are direct copies from other media, far right to top and onward has Lucario's, silver the hedgehog's, Rosalina's, Lusamine, Super Sonic, and Gohan's color pattern to Study its pattern.)

Shape of shadows

Initially, shadowing shapes was difficult, but I was able to figure it out and practice map it out. Using various color palettes, however, allowed me to be loose with my characters. In addition, whenever there is a daily gesture drawing on certain weeks, posing gestures are improving slowly.

In any case, that's all there is, and as traditions go, we need to continue to improve.

Term 4, Week 2; Progress of the Week
Upper Body Study

Color and Light Theory Assignment 3

5 Character Upper Body Highlight

The upper anatomy section was somewhat difficult for me to learn because there were so many details I couldn't keep up with. The arm was at least simplified by the end of the week to make drawing the muscles easier. The color and light theory was surprisingly easy, even though it seemed to be just as difficult. By practicing drawing the shapes and the light/shadows out, I was able to get a good grasp of it. There are some flaws, but they are expected.

Anyhow, that's all there is to it, and I will continue to improve.

Term 4, Week 3; Progress of the week;



It's hard to get the arms right even with supplements and books, so I opted to simplify it by adding the forearms, but that made me realize that I have drawn the basics of arm muscles. In terms of coloring and hands and heads practice, it's going well so I won't say much about it except to practice more drawing of it.

Backgrounds when it comes to sci-fi are just so Hard, no matter how much I tried to break it down in shapes, I couldn't barrel pass through my perfectionist mindset and the complicity of the design so I only focus on the bigger shapes than the small ones

As for the other assignments, it went smoothly for my studies so not much to say. (drawing Bg still sucks though, i was this close to giving up)

It was honestly the most focused week I have ever felt because I actually spent more time studying instead of procrastinating and feeling nice. It was a good week for progress, nothing perfect, but I can do better. Apart from that, there is not much else to say. Next week, its free style learning, so I'll continue practicing anatomy, gestures and maybe environments (specifically perspective, which I still struggle with, but I have to learn to be a top artist).
