I'm trying to find a workflow so that I can animate this character more easily.

I'm trying a bit of a different style to what I usually do

This character is for a fighting game I'm concepting

I imported the image as a plane into Blender to see what the armature's proportions should be

This character is a warrior-demon and his name is Baelthorn. I'm still playing with the idea of giving him like a companion fighter beast or something similar.
I still have to design his shield and melee weapon
