Perspective wise, it past the first initial eye test. Nothing stands out to much. The colors are looking a bit muddy at the moment. I recommend just using an hard round brush first. No need to start with an texture brush in the beginning.

Hi
Thanx for the reply  I should approach with solid colouring first, yeah the texturing needs to happen later. Admittedly, when the design started looking cool for me, I got a bit hasty, trying to get it to look awesome straight away.

I made this in gray-scale.

and I then painted over the gray areas with the layer alpha locked ( I'm using Krita ).

I am a bit uncertain, I want to give the vehicle a metal finish ( like military tank metal ).
Is it a good idea to work on lighting and shading first? Then texturing?

Looking good. :grinning:
Personally I think you should go about 70% with the lighting and shadows. Then the last 30% with the details. I think having a good lighting base is a bit easier to work with before adding the details to get that final look.
Keep up the good work.

Thanx
I did some lighting like this:

I want to make it look more realistic than with the current dark line-work. I'm thinking of lowering the opacity of the line-work layer and painting detail over it.

With the texturing, I'm thinking of doing wear and tear, like mud and scratches, even rust in places.
