With christmas right around the corner and me being 8 months pregnant, I really wanted to finish the final pages of the artbook for our game, that I plan to gift my husband for christmas, because at least in my head it will be easier to do some 20-30 min artschool tasks with a baby around next year (hopefully, fingers crossed @future me) instead of fully fleshed drawings like I do currently.
And what can I say: I managed, yeeey! The artbook is now in print and I finished all the pages. Some I like more than others but I mostly consistent with my style and really happy with the overall direction.
Monsters are fun to draw but again - I should really start with anatomy lessons (I will, I promise!) to get a better understanding of how things are working together.

I love armor concept art and tried to create two own versions, I like the right one much more because it is more fancy. Ignore the lightning.

I wanted to include all possible romances in the artbook from our game. I am not 100% satisfied with it, but time is running and I finished it in a 5h from scratch marathon today.

And lastly a self portait. My husband ( I feel like I am talking about him non stop in this post, sorry xD) is color blind and sees my greenish eyes as red, so I went with that one. I am pretty bad with facial expressions, because I come from a manga background as a teenager and find it extremly hard to implement this overstylized knowlegde into my current artstyle so enjoy my emotionless face instead. It was the mentally most challenging work up to date, especially to draw all the imperfections and not shy away from it.
