Yo!

I'm Juromaru from Germany, and I've been taking art more seriously for the past 2–3 years. Marc's YouTube videos pulled me out of a decade-long hiatus, and I'll be forever grateful for that.
Currently, I'm focusing on my personal pixel art game project, The Mask Behind the Dream, and I thought it would be neat to create fan art/concept art for it.

So far, so good—but I'm still lacking a lot of fundamental skills to bring the art I envision in my head to life.
That's why I ended up here (because I'm old and Discord overwhelms me), hoping to give myself a good kick in the butt!

Okay so I started with the most basic thing in Term 1 and I am already struggling xD but this is marathon not a sprint and will get there. All pictures belong do AdorkaStock.

Tried to draw these in 30 sec. I think I have to exaggerate the line of action way more to make it look dynamic.

And lastly I took 20 minutes to create these 3 quick and dirty thumbnail sketches. Last picture is from Maxime Desmettre. Value practice is easier for me and therefore more fun.

I also came up with a basic design for a card from our game. We will see if I have the skills yet to tackle this.
I guess I will post once a week and show a best of of things.

Time flies and weather is incredible nice atm at my place, so I am just spending a lot of time in nature and do the whole "observance" part and some warm up figure drawing.
