Hello everyone, I'm Kurata. I'm 27 years old and I'm from Italy.
I always loved art in all of its forms, I've navigated through most of them, but never thought that visual art would be my final destination.
I always thought that writing and literature were my thing but with time I understood that my dreams and stories are more like beautiful images than pages full of words.

I have very poor artistic skills, I used to paint when I was younger but just to cope with my emotions, never to give life to what I see/dream.
After trying to watch several tutorials on YouTube I came across Marc's channel and I decided that I wanted to follow a course step by step to get solid fundamentals to be able to draw anything I can imagine.
I started Term 1 back in January, after reaching Term 2 I had to stop cause I was working most of the day and I was very tired (like sleep eat work and repeat, very dark times ahah). Now I'm starting again with more determination.

I'm revising Term 1 at the moment and I want to share my progress here, happy to receive feedback (positive and negative) but mostly I can't wait to meet people to share this journey with, talk about art, share suggestions, and grow together or learn from you guys.

Day 4 - pen control

Thank you Andy! I feel like my hand is very shaky. I hope to get better at drawing on a tablet

Welcome Kurata! Those look very good!

Turning up smoothing to about 10% helps me if I'm drawing slowly. You'll get used to it over time. Also try to do swift strokes. I like to fill a whole page with swift strokes. It's good practice n_n

I always draw slowly, especially circles, so I'll give it a try! Thanks so much for the suggestions, I will post soon to show the results :relaxed:

Welcome to the forums! You have a good eye for colors, those color corrections looks spot on!

Thank you! They seem very different to me but I don't know how to fix them, every time I fix something the other feature seems weird xd
