Hello everyone I'm Kyu. I started studying art seriously around the end of 2020 and switched to digital with Clip Studio Paint in May. I joined Art School in August after finding myself stagnating in my studies, and since joining i've been more motivated to improve. I'm particularly interested in character concept art/design, splash art and general illustration. I'm currently sitting at the end of Term 2 where I see myself staying for a while to practice the skills covered so far. I plan on posting updates at least once a week, probably toward the end of the week, I look forward to the feedback.

I only have a couple of pieces pre Art School that arent just gesture drawings or figure breakdowns, here they are. The first pic contains a lot of firsts for me like basic shading and color on a human figure and drawing hair and clothes

Went back to T1 to work on my pen pressure and ellipses, especially tight curves like ovals

I feel like the ribcage box would start lower than the shoulders and you wouldn't see the bottom of the ribcage box as much as you have in your drawing, but overall looks great!

As @jpbennett02 already said, you'd see less of the rib cage's bottom plane. also you might want to make the pelvis overlap the top plane of her right leg a little more to show that it is under the pelvis.
Apart from that, I think you did a decent job

Thanks for the feedback @jpbennett02 @mau.wamp, the lower ribcage was the main thing throwing me off, but i didnt even think about/ notice the other things pointed out

Did a gesture drawing then tried applying basic forms to it, i think it came out pretty good aside from the limbs being a little on the thin side. i also tried using the two lines connecting the shoulders to show the slight tilt back and also outline where the clavicle would sit instead of just extending the ribcage box to include the shoulders like my previous figure breakdown. Any feedback on things i missed or got wrong is welcome

That form construction looks great! Good stuff!
