License on model stock photos

If I purchase and use the images of models as a reference for artwork I want to sell, such as art prints or on merch, what are my limitations? In most cases, I'd be using the model's pose and physique and likeness, but probably be changing it up. Am I allowed to do this for as many artworks that I create?

Most Digital Art is created from the combination of references, your taking many different references to create an original image which you own and can do whatever you wish with so dont be afraid of using poses you find.

If you were to say buy a references photo and try and resell that reference photo without adding or changing anything it would be wrong.
