So I decided to render that one (most of it anyway, didn’t feel like doing the hands and feet), and started some more figures I want to work on stylisation with, not rendering. I have done this reference before i started learning anatomy, so wanted to see how differently it will turn out
That rendered grayscale figure looks so good, especially the shading on that bent arm. We really feel the volume of it. And that stylized figure looks pretty good too
Thanks a lot, @cedricgo Haven't had much time lately, but hope to finish all of these soon ^_^
Continuing with having the attention span of a 3-year old. Here’s some wips of some epic people
Ok, I managed to finish one out of 15, which I choose to see as an accomplishment in this heat 😅🥲 Trying out a new style, hope you like it
Here is some more stuff, drawing pretty lady faces and legs and such. The heat is getting to me, but I feel like i have improved a lot in my linework and drawing overall, huge THANKS to my mentor/sempai @brohawx who has helped me a lot and been extremely patient with me
Very nice! Yournlinework definitely looks really good. You're improving for sure!
Thanks @cedricgo much appreciated 😊Here is a quick shaded version, not sure if I will touch it up some more .. and also the naked ladies (hee hee) with construction lines, I think I am starting to get how pelvises work finally!
Here’s some progress on the rendering, trying out @brohawx’s advise on value grouping and changing hues to make it more interesting, i am pretty happy with how it’s going, this is definitely much faster than i am used to, so thanks for yet another great advice 😁
Here is some progress with the rendering, I think it is almost there, but I’m not too happy with the hair yet. Any thoughs/critiques are welcome
I will call this one finished too - I give you battle academia Alexa 😁
She came out great! I like the subtle variation of colors of the skin and your control over soft and hard edges. Keep up the nice work
Thanks a lot @cedricgo 😊So I had to take a longer break from drawing, but i finally managed to finish something - portraits of my characters, and some experimentation/studies oh hair and overall style.
They both look great! Your fine linework is really nice and those hair are beautiful.
Ooh nice work, that hair looks great!
I really like the style u developed over the time ... keep it up
Thank you @creARTive_Paul !
I haven’t posted in a while, I had some time off art, but here are a few works from the past few months
And a couple WIPs — i tried out still life:
And a portrait study of a pro artist splash:
The shading of the figure drawings, and the flower pots has some good shading.I like the last portrait. The left eye look a little slanted though.
Hello there,Here is a portrait iI did last week Might touch it up a bit more, but pretty happy where it’s at now
I like the portrait especially, the facial features and hair shading.
