My first mermay!
I never drew a mermaid so I think it is a good opportunity to do it.
I am not sure if I want to go with illustration or concept so I am just trying some stuff. Let's hope it will make me do a backgroung I constantly avoid doing.

I think I will go for evil look for queen. But I want to make concepts for her before she turned evil. I am trying to figure out tail; I thought about flying sirens but I will keep her in water.

For illustration at first I wanted a crystal ball but it catches to much attention so i think I will go for simple bubble. I am also considering different situation in the ball.
I will think about the earlier thumbnails as well.

I finished first concept for mermaid queen I might alter it later but I want to focus more on her corrupted look.
