Another small sketch from today. inspired by Jake Parker. He's one of my favourite artists.

I made a mini serie about inkbots today.

Was fun to do. What do you guys about it ?

The ink bots look cool. One thing you could take a look at though is line weight.
Also, some of the bots show the outline of other bots behind them (most notable in the blue bot), which is most likely due to using a scanner on a sketchbook. Can be avoided by placing something behind the paper you are currently scanning, or placing only one page on the scanner.

Thanks. Yes i know, I find this whole line weight thing very confusing. I never found a good tutorial on that topic.
It's actually a photo, not a scan. The scaner we have at home is crap. But thanks for this advice, will do it next time i scan something.

bought some clay a few days ago.
Here is my second try. It was quite fun to do.

i started to draw more landscapes.

so, i finished this one. did some small things on the landscape and added a character in the foreground. I quite like how it came out. what do you think about it ?

My girlfriend who is a tattoo artist, bought an Ipad pro. so i tried it out and this were my first two results. I quite like the app procreate.

Soo. I see
it has been some time since I drew... sadly I had to set other priorities to my
life…

Anyway, recently
I started (again -.-) to draw. I just started to sketch and it turned out to be
a landscape. Since it was fun to work on that I decided to invest a little time
to learn more about environment drawings…

I hope I can keep the pace up and draw some more in the next days. But yeah, since
leaving the house isn´t that interesting lately I think there is enough time to
draw and be creative.

I am liking your environment concepts! Keep up the good work. Have you thought about doing concepts for a small video game idea? Like an ice level in a game similar to Spyro the Dragon, or a desert level in some RPG? You could add your own ideas to the concepts and come up with your own environment designs, and assets. For example, for a desert level design an "ancient dragon skeleton" environment asset, or something similar.

I have been learning Procreate also this year, since unfortunately my Photoshop died.

I redrew the Yeti i drew for an challenge here on Cubebrush back in 2015 (or 16, i dont know).
