Thanks for stopping by @patrycja.lerch, @gregorya, @JimSt
Practiced animating a jumping cube in blender for fun..
The camera shake was purely accidental as I tried to remember how to keyframe the cameras and I left the animation playing so it somehow keyframed the camera movement while the animation was playing resulting in the camera shake lmao..
been busy with a few different personal projs recently (none as big as my H@
My 2 projs rn aside from my main one are:
- My Cyanscythe and GoldenMage blog (wip and will post here when done
)
need more icons, art, as well as blog content..
I'm learning more about AI for future job opportunities at the recommendation of my mom
I used to be very against AI cus i hate it when people use AI art and call themselves artists.
But actually AI, particularly Convolutional Neural Networks are actually kind of interesting. you can train it from scratch to tell the difference between a cat and a dog.
The way you train it is local so its not going to some giant AI database that i know of anyways..
So my first AI project is to train my own local model to tell the difference between my main characters!
but due to the complexity and how little art i have of them (training takes hundreds if not thousands of images) I decided to gradually train it.
First, I'll tell it the difference between the eyes, then headshots, then full body, and train it on multi-character images and if i give it an image it should be able to tell which character(s) are in it
If you're curious about it, it's here.. Still in very early stages tho cuz i still have to draw the art for it...

I'm also working on an animation critique for someone on reddit that has been taking a while cuz im also doing a bit of bg and documenting the steps in my blog for em.
