Trying to practice some shadows - these are super hard for me for some reason. im pretty sure im doing this completely wrong XD
wanted to animate it and shade all the boxes but daem that bottom one is hard so im stuck on that one for now before i can do all the fancy stuff XD
Here are some questions i have and it would be really nice if someone could tell me what the answer to these are XD
(how far left should the white line be and how far down should the red and pink lines be?)
I think one of the issues is im not moving my grounding point with the light... imma try that to see if that looks more correct....
Edit:
Ok started analysing it a bit - i thought that by having one point persp it would make things easier looool but apparently not - so changed the static box to 2pt persp.
Then i realized that if i were to extend the shadow out forever basically the way i can tell where the edge of the shadow is is where the light cuts into it so having it like this seems to be more helpful..
in this example cus the light is so low the shadow would be super long cus the light doesnt cut into the shadow just yet.
I think this part would get cut off by the light
so it shoudl look like this...?
