All of your nose, ear, head and random shape studies are amazing!, I also really like how you used different colors for the different parts of the nose.

@snakker
Thank you! I really wanted to take my time with the anatomy lessons, bc I never explicitly learned this stuff xD

@CYP2C19
I'm glad you like it ;}
The colors help me to see the shapes and how to stylize and manipulate them ^.^

@mitsuki-youko
Thank you, I try my best! :muscle:
Yeah I really have a weird sleep pattern lately haha xD
But I have a lot of fun with the studies, so it's fine for now ^^

Today I tried to do some simplified heads/noses/ears without ref, was a lot of fun ^.^
And some good old gestures xD

Good stuff
Those gestures are beautiful

Love the simplicity of the gesture but still contains some detail (e.g. muscles).

imo, you should have a go about pushing the pose even more to express more but that's how i do gesture drawing. :sweat_smile:

What I meant by pushing the pose is move the model more extreme than normally shown. Basically, what's the mode next action after this?

Here are some examples I made. Forgive on my messy sketch as I just got up and was warming my hand up :sweat_smile:

Ahhh I see... sooo basically make the main curves even curvier? :smiley:
Thank you for the examples, I sometimes have trouble drawing things more extreme than they actually are xD

I will try to incorporate your advice in my future drawing :smile: :muscle:

i really like ur mouth studies! they look so cool! but tbh all ur studies look amazing!

Ooh man, so many great studies, I love how some of your eyebrows have unique patterns to them, and those lip studies are super clean, nice thing you added the lips' construction separately!.

I totally get the circle thing, you can try out drawing it fastish, smooth and going over it more than once, increasing pen pressure as you go or only increasing line weight afterwards in the β€œdarkest area” to suggest value.

By the way, great work on these studies

Cheers
