Finally had the time to go through the entire video and try the new exercises.

Here is how i went. Both felt reaaallyyy difficult. Gesture drawing is more permissive and things will come with practice, but "measured" drawing felt quite frustating, as i thought i did good, and then translated my drawing on the reference to see that i was completely off. Several times. My eyes and hands need to continue practising for sure.

As always, any feedback is gladly welcomed.

Hi all,

For some personal/professional reasons, i've been away for too long and feel that i've lost a bit of the knowledge i just learnt. Anyway, i'm back !
Went for some quick poses as a warmup ( not really happy with the result, i need to document myself more on gesture drawing ).
And then finally had the time to continue the lessons and went with the last of term 1 : Perspective ! I'm 1h30 in the lesson, tried to follow along, and here is the result for now !

Finally moved on to Term 2 to learn some new tools and technique.

Beginning with the photoshop course to learn shading among other things.

Went for the beginning of the Anatomy course too but i must practice drawing the volumes of simple shapes before moving on...

Here a the very first results ! ( i did the blending colors part without using the smudge tool).
