These all look really cool. I like the final cat you did, it has this scrawny feral look that is creepy enough on its own but combined with the glowing and the limbs makes it exponentially more unsettling.

My next goal is to make a rotten horse with half of his skull visible. I made a pencil sketch but i will adjust the design digitally.

I believe that pencil sketch was too static so I arched his head a bit and I made his bottom jaw open. As I will render him a lot will change. I am using Shire horse and Irish cob as a reference.

Every night before I go to sleep I draw a horse from photo reference and try to capture posture and anatomy of a horse.

This one really took a lot of time to figure it out since he was in a perspective. My goal this year is really polish my knowledge of animal anatomy in all kinds of poses.

Yesterday I drew cats instead of horses and I enjoyed myself immensely. I will do more cat and dog studies , I just love their body structure and movement.

Mostly I end up on practicing horses, foxes or cats but I still struggle a ot especially with porportions and hind legs. My goal is to master them till the end of this year.

Foxes are a lot of fun especially when they yawn. Even tho I still struggle with default poses I try to sketch more complex ones as well.

More foxes drawings and I started doing some coyotes as well, since I am plalnning to draw Anubis in near future.

Here are some options for my dying unicorn. I am not sure about the fog and I am struggling a lot with edge control, this is really something I would like to master as well. I like to add stripes to my horses because it makes them prehistoric for some reason, well at least in my opinion.

Hyenas body shape and posture always captured my imagination. Especially when they smile, it is very creepy and can add a lot to a creature design if your aim is to be a bit scary.

Here is a finished piece of my last unicorn dying, surrounded by skeletons of his fellow horses. I combined Shire looking horse with zebra pattern, which makes it look a bit prehistoric in my opinion and I made his mane in Wildebeest style. He was a strong and magnificent animal but without his horn he is parishing. This piece was a good practice because I really pushed myself to add all the details on horses anatomy.

Yesterday I did some pencil sketches of cats again and I really tried to capture their posture and how they curve. There really is something majestic about cats and there is something goodlike about them.

And as always I finished my day with a fast bedtime sketch od a random animal. I found nice photos of cute hyeena pups.

I am trying to capture animals movement as much as I can so I started drawing animals while they play. I collected loads of references of dif. animals during fight, hunt or playtime.

I started experimenting with some creature designs and I am planning on finishing some of those. I believe I need to train myself with real anatomy, but still put some energy in my imagination as well.
