Seems like you really know what you're doing with those colors. Using blue in a green plant and it looks perfectly good 😲👍

@prinzmoana I’m a little worried that maybe my colours are too saturated sometime. I started looking others works and maybe I should work on colour balance.

Curves in photoshop always have been a big mystery for me 
In the last piece I see my difference with the original but if I correct the clouds, the figure will change too. I just miss something. On both pieces i have more contrast than originals and I`m not sure how to change it.
I like your colors and don't think your work has to look like the work of other people ^^
But one can always improve of course 😄

I started a new piece. I know it’s not a traditional sketch but this just work for me at the moment. It is been through several phases until I felt it worked out. (I almost dropped it a few times xD) Now the only thing that left is to figure how to finish it

I love the textures on that color study, something so visually pleasing with loads of textures, same thing with your current sketch, so many textures!.
Loioking great so far! I think the gators head may need to be a tad bit farther from its body I dont know if its neck can bend at that angle and have its head straight, but im not sure! Great work!

Maybe you are right. I will look for more references. I don’t have the exact pose of the alligator, and there is a foreshortening and I’m confused Also I don’t have much experience with animals
