Thanks for the kind words everyone! I'm checking out your work shortly.
In the meantime I went on to the Image adjustments stuff and it was more fun than I expected. Apparently I have some trouble finding proper saturation values sometimes, and that last image was extra hard, but I like how it turned out.
I guess I'll move on to week two stuff now, so figure sketches are coming shortly.

New day, new daily stuff. I'm moving on to skeletons and cylinders now. The cylinder part was utterly frustrating till I did not crank up Stabilization to the max - I hope that's not cheating - but the skeleton part was surprisingly relaxing and zen. Oh, and the poses are courtesy of the amazing Grafit Studio. I just stumbled upon their page and it seems to be a goldmine of great pose references. I'll definitely use it in the future.

I must say, your tenacity with those cylinders is an admirable feat. It's one of the hardest exercises for me, and I tend to give up after a dozen or so. Keep up the good work!

A bit late, but welcome to the forums! Good work on all of these!
I don't think the stabilization thing is cheating per say, but i would recommend to avoid using it or you may end up reling on it.

Some more cylinders for today and also some more skeletons. I guess I'll move on to week 3 stuff shortly,but first I'll have to do the montage and the liquify assignments - I guess that will have to wait until tomorrow.

Holy hell thats a lot of cylinders! Do not some of them seem flattened on one axis rather than angled in perspective

No skeletons today, just a castle and a bunch of new cylinders. I'm planning to do some overpaint cylinder stuff tomorrow, finish the liquify assignment, and finally move on to week 3 stuff!

Look like you got a good handle on those cylinders. That big collage is tripy. You might have to... ehem, pipe it down.
Guess you can graduate from cylinders now. You have a lot of degrees!

Why do i get the feeling that the right character is the child of both left and middle characters?
