Hey guys.

I've been a lurker on this site for a while and I decided I should start posting and being a part of the community.

Here's a painting I'm working on right now. I'm still making progress on the staff, but I feel like this is a decent place to post it.

It's always good to see more people posting and getting involved. It's nice to see you are working on the values first. Will be good to see the piece progress, remember to add values within the hair and consider how it would interact with the wings. If she was to use the wings the hair would constantly be hit by them during flight.

I didn't even think about the wings interacting with the hair.

Alright I'm getting close to finishing up the black and white painting. I'll still have to fix the chest and some other problem areas, but I'm getting really close to rendering out the character in color.

Usually a design wouldn't take me a month to finish up but it seems like everything tends to slow down during the holiday season.
