Hello!
I'm Oksi, I've been drawing in bits most of my life, but never actually put enough effort into it to become good, or at least confident about it. I work as a software developer, secretly dreaming that one day i could incorporate something more creative into my work life.
I did start term one last year, but i didn't progress very far, and it has been on the back burner until now.
I'll start off with a picture of probably my most successful drawing, which still has many issues xD

And here are some of the things from term 1 I managed to do last year. (I'll revisit them again now)

Did the pen control assignment immediately. I struggle with circles quite a bit.

Welcome Oksi! Good work so far! and yeah the circles were surprisingly hard for me too. It's a good exercise to do over as a warm up though. looking forward to seeing your progress!

Welcome to the Forums Oksi!, If you find yourself struggling with circles in general then you could try the drawabox exercise for Ellipses and Circles. You can obviously tune it to whatever fits your need, but I'd recommend doing both Ellipses and Circles, You're going to really need Ellipses later on.
Best of luck onwards and I'm looking forward to seeing you progress!.

Body Proportions.
My first attempt was pretty horrible, so i looked up some anatomy body references, to understand the lines better. This seemed to help tremendously, but of course, i need to practice this quite a bit more.
.

Here are some drawings of full figures from reference, in 3 stages: skeleton, sketch and linework. Interestingly, I found the last one, the almost straight standing figure the hardest to get right. I suppose more practice with proportions is required.

And some gesture drawings, 30 seconds and 1 minute.
