Sometimes I can spend too much time on details that don't matter (like how to organize an exercise) so I see how other people are doing it and that solves the problem for me!

No worries at all, don't think I was the first to organize the exercises that way anyways and if I was oh well, I didn't see any other way to organize all of those exercises anyways, so happy the layout works for you and that you like it!

Looking good, especially those spheres! Wow you can really feel their volume. Also nice gestures, those look great! Awesome work as always! and I think your color blends are looking good, takes a bit to get used to doing that, I still struggle with it so don't sweat it too much just keep practicing.

For the lineart studies, one way I found that helped me find a few to study initially was looking on https://characterdesignreferences.com/ If you go to the Artist of the Week tab, they have galleries full of character artist's work. Helped me identify some artists whose style I wanted to study and good for general inspiration.

Otherwise, outside of artbooks/comics, when I'm looking up references I try to search for concept sketches rather than concept art, sometimes that works and pulls up different results, but as others have said, concept art is pretty painterly generally. But worth a shot if you have a character you really want to study and can't find it through a normal search.

My first lineart piece. As you can see, I completely misunderstood the exercise I saw the work everyone was posting and it suddenly dawned on me that it should be a full figure drawing because in the past week anatomy was the main lesson.. I know, pretty obvious but it went over my head!

I love certain scenes from different movies/shows. This is one of my absolute favorite ones! I hope it brings out nostalgic memories as it does with me

It was fun to recreate it so not a complete waste It took me 3 days because the closeup on the two characters made it hard for the lines to be clean (My OCD tendencies were not happy)
I followed my gut feeling on how thick each line should be (the closer to the screen, the thicker).. As always feedback is really appreciated!

Although it's not the human figure, that study is amazing! I'd say it counts, as long as you feel that you learned something from it. I hadn't thought of using scenes as studies, but that's a really good idea. Great job Ola!

It's a hurtful scene but it's burned in my memory and it means so much to me.. And it's well executed by the animators, especially the expression on Mufasa Need to bring a joyful scene next time I do one!

Decided to color it, on my brother's request.. I'm sure by doing this I'm skipping to term 3 or 4, that's why I was totally winging it, especially the environmental parts of the drawing.. My pace is completely wacky!! It takes me 4-5 weeks to finish 1 week from the study guide and I still have the 4 remaining lineart work hehe

Finished the third line work. This took way too long for the end result. I was so disenchanted in the middle but I didn't want to bail so I continued even though there wasn't much enjoyment in it.

I'm always too concerned with how clean the lines are to the point of not focusing on anything else. If anyone has a solution for this perfectionism disease I have, please I'm all ears, cause it robs me from enjoying the process Also the undo option can be unhealthy for some people... I overuse it... It's a rabbit I don't recommend for anyone to be caught into... even anyone I dislike!

Damn that's impressive! How long did it take you? A way to avaid "perfectionism" could be to set yourself a time limit. Like 30 minutes to an hour. No time for perfectionism then.

Hey this looks awesome tho, but it is as Mason said, it's all about time, way better to do messy ish' lines and draw two things than to spend the same amount of time on just one. Twice the XP as some bald man would say.
