Thank you very much @daceronine, @phamster345, @mitsuki-youko, @Pattu_w and @gregorya!
I am glad hands look good. It is often hard to them right.
I was trying different shadows and I haven't added it yet. But thank you! it can be overlooked
That's her magic and it works as a pretty nice lightsource
I started to think so I should call it done. Thinking always complicates everything. I also spent few hours just looking at it so it is finished
I cooled it down because she is ice based. And cold pink looks nice. Then all the details, fancy brushwork and effects. I liked the effects in original so I made the glow dark blue and added some blue reflections here and there because why not. I tried giving some warmth her face so we have more attention there opposed everything else being cold. But I don't know if it looks warmer or I am imagining it. Lights fade away as they are closer to face so light side of the face stands out on the darker background
I add some rough brushstrokes around, you can see it on the floating cloth, to add some realism to it. When we look at something the rest gets a bit blured. I keep the point of interest clean but make the rest a bit more rough.
I want to break down my process for you but I do most of it without really thinking
I really like how it looks in greyscale
Have a good day!
