Oy! all good, didn't mean to imply you were not trying to highlight the silhouette, just a tip I picked up somewhere in case others are also reading this.
On the same note, silhouette can include specific posing, a big detail, or other characteristics, not just outline. It helps to try to draw the character with just a few lines to try to focus on the main points.
Here's an example with some quick doodles
it's kind of less than a minute gesture drawing, but I think you can recognize some of these characters even with just a few very rough lines, even if they are next to each other.
That drawin looks really good btw! I don't know much about colors, but those look really nice on her.
And I hear ya, it's rough to paint in with texture brushes. I see Marc does this thing where he selects around the outline and then just fills the color in, which I've been too lazy to do right.
Your coloring looks smooth though, I don't see any "holes" in the paint.
