Thank you very much @daceronine, @mitsuki-youko, @Pattu_w, @garrok.dev, @gregorya, @pretzel and everyone else who stopped by!
I was looking after my brother dogs for few days and I am back. I think of saving up for ipad as I stay there pretty often but it could take a while and for such price I could update pc
Sometimes I wonder how I can work like that. But If I block in colors with lasso tool/hard edges first I can't unsee it. Soft brush also helps with seeing transitions between colors
Sword is unsheated only because of stylisation. It is just a simfplified silhouette to fit in tarot card style. He has gloves so I don't think the blade will do much damage. Holding it in such way is more intimate and feels different than if he holded it 'normally'. I could have done better job portraying this. I struggle with carrying emotions from sketch to render.
Also it is not expected to hold sword this way which makes it more interesting. And when I flipped it to see how it would look composition wasn't working.
Pretty boi is here! I couldn't get those clouds so I went back to initial idea - vines. To show his soldier side I added scratches on armor and scars on face which you won't see on Alioth (previous one). You can see that he uses his armor and it is not only representative. Vines look a bit more pretty than I intended. I had to tone down some parts so it doesn't fight with border.
I feel like I make better job with composition to keep viewer eye on the work. At least I keep circling around it because most parts keep leading you somewhere and then back to face
And I really want to fix Alioth because of this one... or just change few parts to make it look better.
Have a beautiful day!
