Working on these commissions made me so happy. People I made it for are super lovely and its been so nice to work with them. I was so worried before for many reasons but they all understand that I am just starting out and they are all so kind.

Both are sweet couple pieces. I love these so much!

End of the year so I made art summary. Inlcuded the last year one too. There is so much difference between these! Even if you look at the start of this year and my recent works there is a lot of improvement. All that time really paid off. I often criticise my art. A lot. But I am aware of the improvement and I am proud.

I may have not fulfilled most of my goals for this year but I still managed to achieve a lot. Anatomy, style, story. I worked hard. I even got my first commissions. It was a good year and I am excited for the next one.

I also posted this one today so I can show it to you too. November 2021 just before I started learning fundamentals. Going from stick figures to the art I make today in a mere 3 years is huge. Practicing almost every single day, the amount of studies. I'm really proud of myself. Still a long way ahead

And please don't throw away your old art and the pieces you hate right now. You will want to look at them after few years and you will love it. I have a whole box of these and I like looking through it from time to time. Im only sad that I lost most of my early digital pieces when my pc broke...

That's a beautiful scene of Zack dancing with the Oc. And clive with the Oc. Does the woman in the second image have an outfit similar to Yuna from Final Fantasy X?

I like the progression of your artwork in 2023. Especially the skin tones.
And I see in 2024 you worked on anatomy and llighting.
You have come a long way in a couple of years.

I can see the resemblance on this angle. But no, it's just classic medievial fantasy dress with corset. And I made the slevees this way to add more flow to it

Since it's new year I will share some goals

• BACKGROUNDS, stop thinking just do it. And learning blender to help me. I even have planned illustrations for it
• Make more complex art; whether it is about design or composition just more complex
• Stop polishing stories to eternity and draw it already!
• Advertise myself more. People can't commission you if they don't know they can
• and simply improving

Last artwork of 2024! Entry for DTIYS. Had lots of fun with it. Tried to get that gothic vibe while keeping colors from original DTIYS post

And the first artwork of the year! Let's set a high bar from the start

Decided to call it done after refining the little details for hours. I really enjoy drawing flowers lately. Probably should learn a bit more about them so I don't draw roses all the time

Also look at that hands! Look so good. I spent a while searching for perfect refs and even longer while painting them. But it was worth it^^

Character is Yuki. She is a priestess from my comic

I find it easier to get the idea first on paper. Feel more loose. I started doing clean greyscale to have easier time making things correct. Later with color adjustments I add color to set a tone for the whole thing. It quickly changes but painting over colored base is better than grey. And it doesn't look bad when I don't paint over some parts. Later applying local colors and rendering till its done.

Nice work from the DTIYS. I like the colors, butterflies, and flowers.
Your Yuki piece looks good as well. The hands seem off to me. Are they too small? The process from sketch to finished is great as well. Happy New Year.

Hand size seems to be my all time problem I know I made wrists too small but when I tried to fix them it looked bad so I left it. Maybe it affects hands too

Working on a commission! Maybe will get another one soon ^^

I think one idea would be to make the hands bigger after you finish.
The queen's pose looks good so far. The portraits are good as well as the designs.
