I did Marco Bucci color study. It was traced so I could fully focus on color. I weren't going for detailed piece so lil owels look like like that. I am getting more comfortable with using more colors. I learned that you don't need to have details on everything to call piece finished some parts can be left just as a simple brush stroke and it will look good.

I finally started reworking an older tiefling piece. I pushed myself to do background I will try to do them more often. Just a simple tavern colors will probably change once I put a character in there and lit fireplace. It still need some details like bottles on shelves. Shield is supposed to be over fireplace but I can't decide on colors

Warm up sketches - I still make legs too long compared to upper body and I have to resize everything later

Color study - I really hated it at the beginning but now it looks a bit better

Portait studies just to do something else - I like how rendering came out but I had a problem with eliminating lineart need to work on it. Do you think eyes on the first lady are too big? I have to think about eyes for this kind of shading I like such shapes for cel shading but not for this

I think the eyes on the first lady are expressive since I think you seem to be going for a more stylized look. I think the size emphasizes her melancholy, if that's what you're going for.

That's the final version but I might do a more refined study

Studies I did today
I noticed that I don't have many non-stylized pieces in portfolio for college so I wanted to do some but well I subconsciously style some parts.

Zatanna webtoon has ended so I did fanart
I haven't noticed that it is the same pose as I did for earlier piece and I still made the same mistake. I like hands came out. I added red on terminator and it looks nice
Figured how to use halftones in CSP; still have problem picking size.

I really need to work on facial expressions. I tried making face more expressive but it looked bad so I left it neutral

I wasn't at my best when doing Zee fanart and now I see all the mistakes I made. It is what it is

I had an Idea and I couldn't focus on anything else until it was done. I spent a lot time on this and I was going toward end so I wanted to save it. CSP decided to turn off. When I reopened this file it was in the day before state (2hours lost) I tried to restore the file from backup but I lost everything and I couldn't even open the one I had. I just sat there staring at 'We cannot open the file' box. But I managed to get the file back. I just don't know why it didn't save anything I did that day. I save every 10minutes + backup

Here is the piece. DA warden killed for art purposes. I didn't wanted to design armor and I love warden design so did this. Sword is kind of designed I found some nice pics and put them together.
I am studying noses right now I just cannot paint a nice front facing nose any other angle but this one. I started flipping canvas and it helps a lot

damn that sucks, but the paint looks awesome tho, don't know what, but there's something about it that just catch my eyes a lot, awesome stuff.

I am reworking mermaid queen design. I just don't feel like drawing tails. I changed middle horn into a crown thing.
She is at point when she lost everything and it is all her fault. She does not care what happens. Empty and full of grief

Here is my piece for June Cubebrush challenge. Moon deity

I wanted to go with dark fantasy vibe (which always has been my aim that I totally ignored) . I chose desaturated analogous palette. At first I wanted to make her body look like galaxy but I stayed with hair.

I like that even with such limited palette I managed to get hair (on the outside) look colorful. Do you get the same impression?

I want to make sun deity as well but I cannot get the colors right. I always had problem with sun fire kind of feel and red/yellow colors aren't really my thing

oh yea that's true! and also i like how you got the bg to glow so much even tho thats not a super "glowy" color

I dig the muted palette and the galaxy hair is a good idea. Also, nice job on the fabric.

A few small things I noticed.
The light shapes above her hands are symmetrical. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing - if there was something in the image to give it purpose, say the light rays they are giving off converge to a focal point then it would make a lot of sense. I think in this case though it looks like you may have used the symmetry tool or just copy/pasted the same one. A few small variations in them would solve that.
The moon at the top of the image draws a lot of attention. It might make sense to have it perfectly circular. You might need to use the circle tool for this, even if just for a guide on a different layer.

That's just my 2 cents. Overall I love it - keep up the great work!
