maybe have to focus on contour line drawing practice for now

By line drawings do you mean inking?

the line art mentioned above is meant to draw with line only as a previous step of coloring(no shading)

What do you mean by that? Why doesn't your line art looks appealing? Just intrigued.
I realized I repeated that pointless chatter so many timesit was just an expression about no confidence of myselfthank you for good comment
so you saying that you immediately knew you should have done a better job? If that's the case, you can always draw on a new layer to prove that you are correct.
