Day3
I really love this one. The idea popped in my head the second I read "King" because I have been getting back into playing mtg and they just released a very fairy tale based set. Tons of fun!

Day 4 "demon" and a kitty!

Day 5 "Key"

Practice is Key! And that's all this one is!

Day 6 "Sword"

Gotta say that this one, like the king day, makes me chuckle every time I look at it.

Still life study from today's artschool stream that I touch up some more and finished. Just studying the fruit rinds.

So here is a concept sheet from a small art jam competition at SWOSU GDC. Pretty fun, I have some changes to make and update as well, which is always fun.

Been away a while due to having a son and I have been messing around with different media programs and hardware quite a bit with the bits of time I have. Lots of ink recently and trying to leave photoshop.

Been working on studying faces again.

These faces are all from "The Future of Fantasy Art" just studying some different artists.

Wow your tone control is insane! looks awesome! ^_^

Thanks @merick, I appreciate it. This was a very fun study to do. I do love that poof ball bird that you made, its super cute. How is the character work going? And are you enjoying the Marc's lessons? I really enjoyed them.

Hahah, thats awesome, thanks so much :> I had a tough day yesterday, but I'll just keep chugging along  hopefully post some ideas soon! And I am loving his lessons, when I am feeling like I lack creativity and just jump back into them.

Another photo study, color this time. Ive been working on infinite painter on my ipad, I think its my new favorite app for drawing, really wish it was on mac too so I could use my larger monitors. The brushes just feel and work so well, and it does pretty much everything I want when drawing/painting digitally. Its also a one time payment of 12 bucks, that's a win in my book.

So a good bit different from what tends to be posted here, but I am working on story telling and set design and this is fun.

Something more emotion based as I stared into the screen. My current goal is to figure out what I am doing and what I want, what a hilariously boring problem.

Been a while since Ive put any work up, mostly been doing technical practice in the small bits of down time between kids and getting ready to move.

Random portrait practice.

I seem to gravitate towards classic painting subjects the most. Landscapes, portraits, still life, think ill try for something much more weird next, because life is really damn weird right now.
