Another photo study, color this time. Ive been working on infinite painter on my ipad, I think its my new favorite app for drawing, really wish it was on mac too so I could use my larger monitors. The brushes just feel and work so well, and it does pretty much everything I want when drawing/painting digitally. Its also a one time payment of 12 bucks, that's a win in my book.

So a good bit different from what tends to be posted here, but I am working on story telling and set design and this is fun.

Something more emotion based as I stared into the screen. My current goal is to figure out what I am doing and what I want, what a hilariously boring problem.

Been a while since Ive put any work up, mostly been doing technical practice in the small bits of down time between kids and getting ready to move.

I seem to gravitate towards classic painting subjects the most. Landscapes, portraits, still life, think ill try for something much more weird next, because life is really damn weird right now.

This one is quite a bit different from other things I have done, but its still fun.

New paintings from this week, the plan was to make 2 images one pretty and alluring, the other all "monster gonna eat you" But I wound up drawing two poses so they are both just alluring right now.

I am having fun smashing the two styles together, I just need to do more to make them a bit more or less synchronized in my eyes.

Really loving this project.
