Hey there everyone, happy 2021!
I started learning how to sculpt in zBrush recently and want to share my progress here. So I'm probably gonna post WIPs after every major step. I have some exprerience in modeling low-poly assets and characters in maya and blender, so I'm not completely new to 3D. Never really sculpted before tho, so I'm following different tutorials online and mainly this tutorial I found on cubebrush: http://cbr.sh/1frldx My goal with this is to create a game-ready model, slightly stylized (not exactly sure yet about the style). I'm posting in this thread mainly to stay motivated and kinda document my process, but please don't hesitate to give feedback/critique on what I'm doing.
Anyways: Just finished sculpting the base mesh. Also already retopolized it via the zRemesher function and am now going to go on with clothing/armor/assets. As some may have noticed, I thought of making a new design of Link from the Zelda games.
For the base mesh I started with basic shapes and defined them while orientating at references. He got slightly more buffed than I intended as I wanted to practice sculpting muscles too. I'm covering most of it with clothes tho, so I think it doesn't really matter.
Next I'm probably sketching the outfit in photoshop.
