so heres a quick concept sketch i did for my dnd character, shes a Q'aleya a race made by my friend. shes blind but she can 'see' through echolocation and tremor sense, so she can see alot of things that normal people cant
heres her backstory: Backstory: Grew up in a poor family on a farm, wasnt content with her life so she left to pursue her dream of being a powerful sorcerer and getting peoples respect and having people not shove her around and think shes worthless. she left after an particularly nasty argument with her parents, in which the house almost got burned down from her throwing a lamp, aimed at her mothers head. a year after leaving she had made home inside a cave and was stealing from passing travellers, trying to save enough money to afford sorcerer training. whilst in a port buying supplies she came across a sorcerer and begged him to take her under his wing, he saw her potential and took her to live with him and taught her magic over the next few years. during this time she matured and chilled out with the whole power craze and decided to try to use her powers more for good, she still relapses into control freak if things don't go the way she wants, she quickly found out her controllingness doesnt work on her new master.
