Hello everyone! I started another piece!
Thank you @patrycja.lerch for the tips and kind words

This is the most fun I have had with drawing for a while. What I drew came so naturally and with no frustration and I am happy with the result.
I did a small challenge for myself with this. I have a bad habit of zooming in a lot when drawing so for this one I didnt zoom in at all (with a few exceptions of the face and hand). I will try to keep doing this because many artists recommend drawing in this way and I also think it helps!

Hello everyone! I finished the last piece. I tried to hide the lineart this time

The skirt really gave me trouble and in the end I am not entirely happy with it.
I simplified it as much as I can trying to make it look good. I also simplified the hair a bit since I have trouble rendering it.

Welcome back!
Nice render. The folds in the top half look real nice.
I think with the skirt a hard edge brush or a very small soft edge would help you get the desired effect of the hard shadows the creases create.

Thank you @catsforsnacks for the tips! I tried playing with the edges a bit. To tell you the truth I was ready to abandon this piece but I gave it one more try and tried to fix the skirt.

I think this is a bit better than before but it is still a bit messy. It is probably because I used the smudge brush a lot.

Hello everyone! Not much to update it was a slow week, I just did a portrait.

I am still trying to improve my lineart. I tried a different brush this time. I was not too used to it but I want to experiment more.

Ooooo~ I like the way it turned out.
Great job on the second try! It can be hard to revisit a piece once you deem it donezo but I'm glad you did. This one has a much better feel for the fabric.
