A couple works I did over the past month or two. Gosh, how did I forget to post here for over month (╯▽╰ )
I took a pause on going through the terms for art school, and unfortunately went on a tangent...
I did try taking an environment sketching class, so hopefully I will be showing more works from that class when I get to it

But at the moment, I think it's about time (overdue 😅) l go back and finish learning about the muscles...

hey again!
This time I tried to identify and draw out the muscles that I learned so far from reference figures. Learning anatomy is definitely paying off; I can draw out the arm and torso muscles with more confidence! The general sketch and the final result is shown below:

Also wanted to include a random experimentation with color and pen. I was inspired by one of Kano Nakajima's pieces. Vibing with the result heh

Got to Marc's video about color and light for term 4. Decided to use my personal room as reference (guess it's public now lol) and will be testing various color palettes on it I've been inspired by comic/graphic novel artists recently and wanted to emulate an aesthetic, relatively simplistic style that some of them had. That is why I went easy on the details for this piece.

I hope to also do something like a 100-hands challenge this week! Probably over a span of 5 days.

Managed to do 4 hands... Each took me about 30 mins to an hour Not sure if I can complete 100 hand in 5 days by the looks of it

I'm very addicted to blue, thus the random addition of color. If I tried another combination of colors without a prominent blue tone, I feel so unsettled haha. Definitely need to fix that
