Another 13 hands! More than yesterday! Yes!

I tried to first use a "gesture" approach to draw the hands so that I might be able to finish each one quicker. But later I ended up still taking about 30 mins each because I was too caught up with the joint placement and the wrinkles. At least they looked better than the first few hands; maybe I improved?

It's clear that you already had a developing style as you started the course and that the classes you've been taking are accentuating that style.

Looking at your progress is like seeing a tree stretch out its roots into the soil of knowledge and using the nutrients to flourish into its own design. Bravo, I am enjoying muchly.

I've been restudying anatomy from another professional artist that I admire, a korean illustrator called Sungmoo Heo. His lectures gave more clarity for me, and I'm looking forward to practicing anatomy more with all the new info I'm receiving by next week!

Other than that, I tried doing a portrait painting today for a span of around 5-6 hours (?). I think this is the best portrait piece I've done so far . I'm thinking to open up commissions of this kind sometime soon; I hope it's good enough! Please feel free to let me know if there is anything I could improve on

I've been learning from another course how to draw anatomy, and it really helped simplify the muscles for me. Here is a somewhat rough rendition of me grouping the muscles into more digestible shapes:

next goal: drawing the human body with little to no reference and with skin!

Looks really good! I haven't studied much anatomy to comment, but that pink line going from the glutes to the knee, is it supposed to follow the shape of the leg and have a slight curve to it?
