So I definitely skipped the gesture drawing of the majority of this week, I didn't feel like doing it at the moment xD. So tomorrow I start with the free week, and I hope I get to use it as much as I can.

WEEK 7
Day 1
So for my first day of this week (a.k.a free week), I've decided to start over againg with my OC that I drew back on Term 1.

Before i go to sleep, here i share a quick pose for her to be. She also has wings and i hope it looks good

This is what I got so far today.

She looks great! the wings threw me off a bit, as it's hard to get their structure.

I think they're intended to be succubus/bat/demon wings, but bat wings have like "long fingers" that give the wing it's classic form:

Then again, it's your original design, so it can have any structure you want.

Otherwise it's looking good!

It is supposed to be a hybrid of a Demon (succubus) and a fallen angel, that is why the angel wings. I have a vague idea of how it looks in my mind so i'll try to change it a bit.

Your hair studies show great forms, which is pretty much the foundation of any good image. Mastering forms is essentially the key to drawing anything, in my opinion.

Day 2
I continued from where I left it and decided not to add the wings in this one and also change her entire outfit to a more futuristic one and I got to say that I loved it.

Here is the sketch that I made.

Kind of a messy shading and lighting tho the sketch.

Nice! I really like how her silhouette has some easily recognizable features, such as the long horns, tail (thick, heart), and the jacket (wide, cape like).
When designing characters I'd say it's worth quickly sketching a few other iterations in different clothing/hair styles, which will help further refine the unique parts that make the character visually recognizable.

To be honest I really didn't like how it turned out yesterday so I basically did everything from scratch, including color and a little change in the outfit and this time I loved everything of it.
