You were right, it looks a lot better with line weight.

Gesture pose looks nice and detailed but I feel you can push/exaggerate the pose even more to express the pose more.

For example, push the torso/chest more to show the character moving hard. Nothing more but imo, gesture allows us to push and do experimentation to see how it goes. Keep it up!

Okay everyone , Week 6 is officially on course and moving foward.
DAY 1, WEEK 6.

Primitive shapes as Marc referes to, wasn't that hard, but any feedback is well received.

5 minute Gesture drawing.
It definitely was a completetly different pace and i felt it whilst drawing on the canvas.

@Gordon003, I tried doing what you suggested me to do and i dont know i did it right xD, hope i did, if not, i'll keep on trying.

Weekly Assignment
Environment Study #1
I did the study of one of the regions of Valoran (League of Legends world), and drew Ionia's coast line.

I noticed that this painting had one point perspective view and it was a bit easy to do, but in the future i'll do a harder or more complex environment study.

Gesture Drawing (5 minutes).

Today i felt like gesture was a little bit tougher than yesterday's practice, i don't know why, but i happened. Either way i liked how it turned out.

Doing the rotation part of the exercise with complex bodies, definitely is not my forte but as i go through the week i hope it gets easier.

Perspective Assignment #3
WORK IN PROCESS.

Today i've decided to do this weekly assignment because i knew it would take me a long time to finish it. So far i did the basic contruction of the room and furniture, as i continue with the assignment, i'll add some furniture that is missing and do the correct line weight to add the effect of depth.
P.S: I think i've decided to make my life harder than it needs to be by doing a two point perspective room intead of a single one, (help me xD).

I think that by now i'm starting to see some shapes that are similar to some parts of the human body and i like where this is leading to.

Finished Piece

I took my time by redoing the table, completing the bookshelf, adding a stool and some minor details before shading.
I know i got a bit sloppy with the line work but i did my best to respect the perspective and depth of the frame.

Oy you doing good man! I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around the sofa though... is it... hum, is like the seat "sticking out"?
Otherwise it's all good, seems you have a good handle of general perspective!

That's what I'm saying about the line weight xD, it supposed to be the arm rest of the couch.
