So I thought I might as well start somewhere with posting my art where it will get noticed! Hopefully, I'll be able to grow as an artist as well as acquire the feedback I very desperately need To start off this is a concept sheet I started doing for the Art War but never finished. Now I just refined the final design for fun and will maybe tackle a full render at some point need to learn lighting somehow.

Here are some more images I drew when I was designing a character for a book I've (half) written. The main character is Mercy and she's supposed to be a cyborg and has gone through many design changes.

I'm liking your characters a lot. They seem very real in a way. Only tip would be to do loots of figure drawing. =)

Here are the follow on progress images for the sketch before. Realised after I rendered and posted it on social media that the image is the wrong way round in terms of the character's eyes >.< but oh well, next time.

She's really pretty, I like her eye make-up a lot!
One thing I'd suggest is thinking of the hair as ribbons, rather than single strands. That way it'll look a lot more like a coherent mass =)

Great work so far! I like how that last portrait turned out. As @JannaSophia mentionned, thinking of hair as ribbons is really helpful. Anyway, keep it up!

Thank you @cedricgo I'm definitely going to tackle the hair in my next painting, I think I've gotten a bit lazy with my rendering >.<

Here is a Nier Automata fan art I did a while back, feel like it should be shared with the world now as it's been sitting on my work computer for ages. Really would appreciate feedback from whoever sees it was a challenge for me and want to work on my background rendering in preparation for a character portrait I want to do at a later stage.
