Hello and thank you for so many likes on my last practice To day i will go for different nose and see if the shading will be correct for now i did the same nose just as a warmup (only reference used) (the one on the bottom right)

so after trying a different nose I realized one thing and that is that shading is very hard I feel like the shading is off on this one I did try my best tho will definitely practice shading noses looking straight tomorrow but I think that after tomorrow I will go for noses in 3/4 view if you think its a bad idea let me know if I should focus on the front view more instead (The reference was already black and white let me know if I should be looking for a full-color reference or if it's fine, I just like the nose on this portrait)

PS: I will maybe post some more later rn I'm going out with my bois

As you are working with a black and white medium, I think its good to use black and white reference, otherwise you would just make practise harder.
It‘s great that you‘ve move on to another nose, make sure to also practise other angles like 3/4 and side view.

I think it might be good to get practice with another view, might help you understand the volume of it better and might improve your original front view drawings after.

There it is! This actually doesn't look that bad. I love the way you added the highlight on the tip of the nose and the values are in the right places. Also when you compare your study from almost a week ago they're night and day.

I would try to draw the lines lighter or erasing them before you start shading.
Also really look at the reference and draw what you see and not what you think is there. The top of the lip has two points sticking out, but are they really that long and straight? Try to ask yourself these kinds of questions when doing studies.

Hi! Did 1 more nose and i again used different reference now i will move on to noses in 3/4 because I feel like my noses in the front position look good enough

PS: I know the nostrils on this one look at bit smaller then the reference just realised it now

first time shading nose in 3/4 feel pretty good about it (the nose is a bit tilted my bad had the paper in an awkward position and realized it after I was done also the eyebrow line is curved the wrong way yikes)

Hello! after my last cringe comment I did some more noses looking straight bcs I was too lazy and tired to use my brain for 3/4 yikes But tomorrow I will start my job at 7 pm which means that I will have a lot of time to draw and I will do more 3/4 drawings. Today i spent 1.5 hours drawing but only 30 mins on noses I was mostly focusing on head proportions (just to not forget) and some doodles like boxes in perspective cylinders and circles. Even tho I spend 30 mins on this nose I feel like it looks pretty good for the time I spend on it

ps: I know that the reference is weirdly edited and it's probably not a good reference just realized it now OOF.

I truly understand when you say hard work will aid improvement greatly! I can see clearly that you have improved through hard work and following great advice! Hello! Did a nose in 3/4 in 40 min although I think I over blended the ball of the nose and it was unerasable yikes but the rest of the nose looks decent enough Also I think that the structure of this nose was bad, let me know if I'm wrong

Did 1 more nose before work I think it turn out great! I will definitely draw after work later but it will be mostly doodles (shapes in perspective) and some ears and head proportions to see if I remember how to build them I will not post them here tho unless u want to see them let me know
