Umm Okay Hello guys, I'm just very nervous and also thrilled to join the community. Also just thrilled getting a lot of inspiration from you guys.
I decided to be serious about a career in arts recently as before I was working at a UX department in an agency. I wanted to join the journey as well, hoping to get better!

I was focusing on making something traditional before, but after the turnaround of my career I started making digital works more.

I'm always open for feedbacks!

ps. Um yeah, this is something I'm doing since 2015, drawing something on the first page of the notebook I get to decorate the beginning of a notebook. Just thought it fit the topic of the post

High School Witch

Something I've done abouuut.... two weeks ago
yeah when I started sketching this, I was just vaguely thinking about drawing a school uniform for a study. Which kind of led to this.

Surprisingly, after finishing it she reminded me of Akko from little witch academia.

I remember the earlier version of the rendering had less contrast (which was and is always happening somehow sadly) so I tried a lot of different things with the layers.

Anyways, I think I'm getting the hang of digital I guess? I just hope so

Looks nice, such a happy character
But one thing I notice is the cast shadow of the broom. It is too far away be cast such a sharp shadow. For the feet it is alright but the shadow gets less and less sharp the further away the casting object is.

Hello guys, it's been a while.
So yeah, been busy with other works and so on, I just took a breath and tried completing this girl.

I was just thinking about an NPC merchant character in a robotic filled world. Carrying around a big case full of weapons and junks wandering the field, scrapping pieces of destroyed bots and all sorts of junks she finds.

even though I like the images of weapons and guns, the mechanical elements of those props is and was always a struggle I'm afraid. I think I would get back to this in the future to maybe make a swarm of weapons falling out of the case to make the idea more live

It's been hell of a month! I first participated in 2016 with the official prompts and some personal topics, but decided to follow Cubebrush prompts in2017
This year, I've been busy with personal stuff so I couldn't do all 31 drawings, but I counted and I've managed to do 15 drawings in ink.

Those look great! It's unfortunate you couldn't do all 31 prompts, but those you did came out really well. Great job and keep it up!
