Sketchbook - Nightmares on Zam Street

I figure I should stop doing stuff and not posting it forever.

So Ill try and commit to work dumping some of my crap here through this year and get into that groove!

Since Im finishing up on Art War 4, and Marmoset can take a while to render some things out, I'm starting this deload project based on Baki and Mickey Rourke, to showcase the horrors of the human body.

still blocking this out and putting stuff together but he sure makes me uncomfortable to look at, and thats kind of where Im aimin' to go with it.

Got the pose and most of the pieces of him all lined out. I still need to work on the stand, Im thinking concrete, rebar, and broken class. Maybe bricks and trash. I'll see how its working when the body is more finished out

Im basically impossibly bad at making these things look nice in Marmoset, but hey, heres my shot, and even I cant screw up a dramatic spotlight from above, right!

Im thinking I might make this into a game ready character, hopefully I can do it justice, especially when it comes to texturing, lol.

Gonna try and stream this one for a bit, hopefully my coughing fits wont be too bad, lol.

Retopology and UVs done!

Im working on some props for the final pose too, a drink and a bar stool, once those are done I'm going to start baking it all up nice'n pretty like and then start on textures.

Workin on the textures, Ive already done a small revamp on the whole thing, but I think I need to revamp the wings and go back to where I was a bit, I really dont think these look good, lol.

I tried to put this in Unreal and light it but wow, what a nightmare and a clusterfuck that was turning out to be and I didnt want to spend two weeks trying to figure out why Skylights didnt provide light and why objects were receiving light intensity very differently so I just stuck to a final pass in Marmoset so I can take a break... maybe play some Overwatch...
