I basically did an underpainting and then applied the textures over the top on a multiply layer, then painted on top of the textures. I then applied a "paint daubs" filter over the top which gives it the sharpness.

working on simplifying hard surface stuff in perspective. My linework is ugly as hell, have gotten into some bad habits I need to break.
Still noodling away at this gonna add some colours and atmospheric effects next.

Portrait WIP
Added colours and whatnot. I felt like I wasn't reallt understanding the form a lot when painting this and was relying too much on reference to dictate the lighting rather than knowledge. Pretty happy overall though.
Finally got round to scanning some of my recent traditional stuff.

A recent oil painting. This was my second time glazing over the top of dry paint as opposed to alla prima painting. Definately gives a different feel to the process.
