Hi guys, I posted a bit on the old forums, but probably not enough that anyone remembers me Anyhow heres a load of random crap from the past few months. Hopefully I can keep this updated fairly regularly.

@achronic Thanks yeah I definately need to get back and do some more zbrush soon.

SO... been watching a couple of Maciej Kuciara tutorials and wanted to try out some photobashing. Also did a small value painting, experimenting with minimal details.

Been playing Dishonoured 2, I think Cedric Peyravernay might be my new art crush. Here's a copy/study of one of his pieces. I want to try and introduce some of the same textural brushwork and graphic shapes into my own work.

Haha, cool stuff! I must say i feel strange that i prefer drawing male characters and these forums are filled with female character artists, may they be portraits or whole bodies. i guess that's Marc Burnet's influence...

Your work is really good in all aspects-anatomy, color, values... And i know it's a style but how can you stand that the edges are so undefined? I don't know how to really fix that in my work and here i find you, doing it on purpose:))

Anyways, cool stuff, i am looking forward to seeing more!

@rokdem Thanks man! Yeah I think the soft/lost edges come from studying a lot of John Singer Sargent paintings... and laziness haha. I've actually been meaning to try and do some more detail oriented studies just to see if I can do it. As for drawing mostly males I've just always found old gnarly dudes more fun to paint I guess haha.

Messing around with different filters, photobashing and overpainting. There's a buch of issues but it's an interesting way to come up with designs you might not have done otherwise.
