Space, Robots & Aliens - ERA-7’s Art Blog

Hello everyone!
I'm digital artist which known as ERA-7 on Deviantart and Artstation. I like to work in sci-fi and fantasy genres from different space scenes to dragons, alien and robot characters. Ok, I will start from one of my latest works in unusual style for me. I practice in Cartoon'\Comics genre and here is my Making Of "Freelancer".

Max is a space dragon or spiritus from my original sc-fi project "Spiritus The Universe".

So here is how it was done...
* - For this project I used Autodesk Maya, Zbrush and Photoshop.

1. All started from idea and very rough sketch.

2. The next step was creating basic 3D scene. Max got original visor from reference but without textures.

3. Lineart and colors. A bit light. For background I used 110 SCI-FI CUSTOM SHAPES

4. Adding additional details like people, little objects, snow and etc.
